Feb 12 (Mon) Japan Chess Federation rated chess games @ Nakano Chess Club

 Japan Chess Federation rated chess games with time controls of 60 mins each at Nakano on Feb 12th (Mon/ National holiday).

Date & Time： Feb 12 (Mon/ National holiday)　10:00-20:30

Venue：Nakano ZERO hall（Momijiyama Culture Center）　4F Study Room 2
    Also skittles/ waiting room is provided. 2F Study Room B

Format：3R Swiss using Swiss Manager.

• Top section and U1600 section
• Top section is limited to those with national rating of over 1500. If your rating is 1500-1600, you have a choice of joining which section.

Time Controls: 60 mins+ 30 sec/move
Participation fee： 1,000 yen

Registration：From here. You can come play without pre-registering but it would really help if you register so that we can look up your name in the Japan Chess Federation members list beforehand to check your membership status. 

We will be playing 3 games and the rounds are as follows:
10:00 Round 1
13:30 Round 2
17:00 Round 3


You don't have to stay for the entire duration, you can skip Round 1, take round 2 bye, etc. Just let us know 10 minutes before the round begins on whether you will be playing.

To participate in the rated games, you will have to become a member of Japan Chess Federation.

If there are more than 20 players participating, there will be a special prize of 3000 yen for those who score 3/3 (play and win all their games) in each section!

Please be punctual - once the pairings are out, we will not be undoing it to accommodate any latecomers.

If possible, please bring your chess sets and clocks - only 10 sets will be supplied by the club.

You can come join without notifying us but we have limited chess sets and will prioritize those who let us know in advance.
